The Golden Buddy project aims to put the buddy system to use by applying it directly for the elderly and the teenagers. It helps them by giving them a buddy they can open up to, so that they don’t feel lonely and are better equipped to work under difficult circumstances. The fundamental premise of the Golden Buddy project is that these engagements with children and young adults would over time help in alleviating the daily monotony and loneliness in the lives of seniors.
